WEST ALLIS - He was found not guilty of a double murder in West Allis, but now, he's charged with a new crime and there are allegations he threatened to kill someone.

After Lee Parker was found not guilty in a double murder he was a free man, but now, he's back in jail.

Parker was acquitted in the murders of his ex-girlfriend, 16-year-old Amber Lewis and her new boyfriend Theo Lloyd earlier this year.

Now, he's facing new charges.

Police say Lee Parker and an accomplice broke into a Riverwest apartment. The man who lives there, Neil Campbell, says he came home, saw the two men and started struggling with Parker.

“He looked down at me and he said ‘if you let me go, I won't hurt you.’ At that point, he took what he was taking and we struggled to the bottom of the stairs,” Campbell said.

The suspects escaped with thousands of dollars in cash and electronics, but they also left Campbell feeling victimized.

TODAY’S TMJ4’s Melanie Stout: “Did you have any idea who this guy was?”

“No,” Campbell said.

Melanie Stout: “Did you find out later?”

“Yeah,” Campbell said.

A short time later, police arrested Parker and his accomplice. The complaint says the accomplice told police: “Parker threatened to kill him and his family if he told the police he was involved in this burglary. He went on to say Parker told him that if he got caught, he would only be in for a year, and he would get out and kill them."

The accomplice further stated, “Parker got away with a double homicide, and he will kill again.”

Parker is only charged with burglary and could be looking at 12 years behind bars if convicted

Parker remains behind bars on $20,000 cash bail.
