Community offers support to Oak Creek Sikhs
OAK CREEK, Wis. - As the Oak Creek community tries to heal after the senseless shooting at a Sikh Temple this summer, students and staff Saturday dedicated a garden to the memory of those who lost their lives.
The garden at Oak Creek High School is now there to honor the victims and it's open to the public.
In addition, a fundraiser was held Saturday evening to help loved ones of those killed and wounded that day, including Oak Creek Police Lt. Brian Murphy.
The fundraiser was to be held at the Oak Creek Community Center.
