Demonstrators want justice for Derek Williams
MILWAUKEE - Holding signs that read, "Chief Flynn's Got To Go" and "Justice For Derek Williams," about two dozen community activists protested outside District 5 Saturday afternoon, once again drawing attention to the case of a man who died while in police custody.
Video released this week shows 22 year old Derek Williams, who was under arrest for robbery, in the back of a squad car, pleading for officers to help him, saying he couldn't breathe.
Williams leaves behind three children.
Family members are also expected to hold a protest this coming week.
