One dead, another hospitalized following farm accident in Racine County
DOVER- One person is dead and another has been hospitalized following a farm accident in rural Racine County.
Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling says those two people were working in a shed on a piece of machinery when it fell and crushed them.
Someone in the area heard a man calling for help, and that person came over to the shed and then called 9-1-1.
Flight for Life was called to the farm near the Burlington-Dover area around 2:45 p.m. Flight for Life took one of the people to the hospital.
The Racine Journal Times reports the two men are brothers, and the man who survived is recovering at Froedtert Hospital and didn't have any "serious injuries."
