Town of Brookfield to hold prescription drug collection Saturday
TOWN OF BROOKFIELD - The Town of Brookfield is holding a prescription drug collection this weekend.
From 10 until 2 this Saturday, the Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration will be taking expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.
You can turn them in at the police department at 655 N Janacek Rd.
It's free and no questions are asked.
Police say medicines that languish in home cabinets are highly susceptible to diversion, misuse, and abuse.
You're not supposed to flush drugs down the toilet, because they can get back into local waterways.
