Woman, man arrested after shooting, standoff in South Milwaukee
SOUTH MILWAUKEE - Authorities have arrested a woman Wednesday morning after a shooting and reportedly a brief tactical situation in South Milwaukee.
The shooting and standoff happened at about 1:35 a.m. Wednesday near South Southtowne Drive and College Avenue.
The victim was a 56-year-old man. He was treated at Froedtert Hospital, and reportedly was able to assist police with information.
The arrested woman is 45 years old.
Another man was arrested after he refused police commands to ext the building. The South Milwaukee Police Department said the suspect had an outstanding warrant.
The SWAT Team burst into the building and arrested him after a brief standoff.
