Two shot, one while riding MCTS bus, on Milwaukee's north side

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police said Thursday they are searching for suspects after a shooting left two people injured.

One of those people who were shot was riding a Milwaukee County Transit System bus, a person who was caught in the crossfire.

Both people were expected to survive their injuries.  They were receiving treatment at a local hospital.

The shootings happened just after midnight Thursday morning near the corner of North 27th and North Hopkins Streets.

TODAY'S TMJ4 has been told that gunshots came from a black SUV.

Bullets went flying and hit someone on the bus.  That person has what were described as minor injuries.

The gunman also hit a 43-year-old man with several bullets during the attack.

There was no initial information on the identity of the suspects or a motive for the shooting.

Milwaukee Police are asking for the public's help in finding the suspects or offering any information about the shootings.
