MILWAUKEE- Storms blew through southeast Wisconsin Monday, putting residents on edge.
Julia Leray was in her Allerton Avenue home in Greenfield when the storm slammed her neighborhood.
"I've never seen a storm come in like that," said Leray. "It sounded like a semi coming down the road. The winds picked up, hail started coming down, and it was blowing like crazy."
The storm was blowing around branches, garbage cans, and anything that wasn't nailed down.
Renee Ciezki was driving home when the the storm swooped in.
"I looked up toward the west and it came. This sheet of wind and rain came flying at me and I was getting impaled with hail," described Ciezki. "I didn't know if I was going to hit somebody in front of me because you literally cannot see in front of your car -- that's how bad it was."
