Good weather for the 35th annual Briggs and Al Run Walk
MILWAUKEE - Beautiful weather gave a boost to the 8K "Briggs and Al Run and Walk" Saturday.
More than 14-thousand participants hit the pavement to raise money for Children's Hospital. of Wisconsin.
The race course kicked off at 12th and Wisconsin and finished at Henry Maier Festival Park.
Among those in attendance, the racing sausages and Marquette Men's basketball coach Buzz Williams, who says that seeing the kids and knowing that it means something to them and their families makes it special.
Al's Run and Walk has raised more than $13 million for the hospital, money used to provide medical care for the more than 340-thousand patients seen every year.
