Pilot identified following deadly crash in Racine County
TOWN OF DOVER- The pilot who died after a single-engine plane crashed in the Town of Dover earlier this week has been identified.
The Racine County Sheriff's Office said that 67-year-old John "David" Brock was the only person in the Beechcraft Bonanza A-36 single-engine airplane Sunday afternoon.
The plane crashed into a home's backyard, then exploded, causing extensive fire damage to the aircraft and surrounding property.
The FAA and NSTB are investigating this crash.
Brock was trying to fly from Chicago to Minocqua.
