JACKSON - Contamination is getting worse in Washington County after a gasoline pipeline spill in the Town of Jackson.

The number of private wells contaminated from the pipeline leak has risen to 25.

Those results came after a new round of water sample tests.

A 10-inch pipeline ruptured July 17th.

The rupture released about 54,000 gallons of gasoline into the soil.
