Contamination spreads in Jackson after gas pipeline spill
JACKSON - Contamination is getting worse in Washington County after a gasoline pipeline spill in the Town of Jackson.
The number of private wells contaminated from the pipeline leak has risen to 25.
Those results came after a new round of water sample tests.
A 10-inch pipeline ruptured July 17th.
The rupture released about 54,000 gallons of gasoline into the soil.
