Father of 9/11 victim Andrea Haberman: 'We miss her more than ever'

NEW YORK - Every September 11, Gordon Haberman and his wife are in the same place. Ground Zero.
"It is a solemn day for us, but we're happy to be (in New York)," Haberman, of West Bend, told WTMJ's Wisconsin's Afternoon News. "It's the right place for us to be."
His daughter Andrea Haberman was on a business trip to the World Trade Center when hijacked planes hit the towers.
"We miss her more than ever," he said. "As life goes on, events happen that we wish we could share with her. You're always thinking what could've been, what should've been, what would've been."
"Every victim had a family. No one has forgotten them."
Over the past decade, Ground Zero has transformed from a disaster site to a place of prayer and remembrance.
"The 9/11 Memorial is absolutely stunning," Haberman said. He looks forward to the completion of the museum next year.
After "debating for years" the Haberman's donated Andrea's purse and glass to the museum. The items were recovered from the wreckage.
Next year, the Haberman's will return to New York.
"The city put it's arms around us when we first got out here," he said. "We consider the first responders our second family."
