Home sales up 21 percent in metro Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE - The Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors says that sales of homes in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee and Washington Counties has risen 21 percent in August 2012 compared to the same month in 2011.
A spokesman said that "the market is acting as if it was in the early 2000's."
Milwaukee County saw an 11 percent gain, while Waukesha County had the biggest gains at 42.7 percent.
Ozaukee County saw a 26.6 percent gain, while Racine County had a 25.7 percent rise in sales.
