Oak Creek Shootings
Sikh Temple shooting video expected to be released Monday
OAK CREEK - It has been more than five weeks since the massacre at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek.
Authorities were expected to give the public a new view of that tragic day.
Oak Creek Police were set to release dashcam footage from officers who responded to the calls for help.
That video was expected to reveal new insight into the terrifying and heroic moments when police first responded to 911 calls describing shots fired at the temple.
Video was expected to show bullets coming from shooter Wade Page showering police cars and officers returning fire.
"Any information brought to light helps us, it helps us understand and wrap your head around something, and that ultimately will help you move past it," said Amardeep Kaleka, who lost his father in the shooting.
The video was set to be released at 2:00 p.m. Only portions would be allowed to go to public view.
