Watertown police investigate missing 16-year-old
WATERTOWN- A 16-year-old female teenager from Watertown has been missing for nearly three weeks, according to a news release issued Wednesday.
The mother notified Watertown police that her daughter, identified as R.H., left the family's house on August 24 without telling anyone, and took an overnight bag.
Police believe the teen intended to leave the home and wasn't abducted.
According to Watertown Police Chief Tim Roets, "We are continuing the investigation regarding the circumstances surrounding this matter. Our detectives are working with outside law enforcement agencies and the investigation is ongoing at this time."
