Loaded fuel tanker crashes, 1 dead
TOWNSHIP OF RICHFIELD, Wis. (AP) -- One person has died in a fuel tanker crash in Wood County.
Sheriff's officials say the Kwik Trip tanker had a full load of fuel when the driver lost control on a curve in the Township of Richfield early Wednesday and rolled over in a ditch along county Highway A.
Authorities say a minimal amount of fuel was spilled. Kwik Trip is loading the fuel to another tanker. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has been notified of the spill.
