PORT WASHINGTON - A memorial has been planned for Thursday for a teenager from Port Washington.
Wednesday brought a tough first day of class at the high school there.
Tyler Buczek drowned in Lake Michigan this past weekend.
He would have been a freshman at the school.
Students wore blue to honor him.
"It makes me be proud of the community I'm in, because we can all get together and pray and show Tyler that we will do what we normally do and we know he's watching down on us," said Kirsten Tenpenny, a sophomore at the school.
The school is planning a special tribute during Thursday's varsity football game.
