2-year-old boy dead after found in Town of Lisbon pond
TOWN OF LISBON - Waukesha County's Sheriff's Department said Tuesday that a two-year-old boy who was found unresponsive in a pond has died.
Henry Studinski passed away after the incident which happened at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday night in a backyard pond.
According to the Sheriff's Department, his mother found him unresponsive.
Sheriff's deputies and Town of Lisbon firefighters tried to save Henry's life, and Flight for Life took him to Children's Hospital.
Detective Steve Pederson told TODAY'S TMJ4 that investigators continue to look into the incident, but he said nothing suggested anything beyond this being a terrible accident.
The Waukesha County Medical Examiner was to conduct an autopsy on Tuesday.
