Packers sign 8 players to practice squad
GREEN BAY- The Packers announced Monday they have signed eight players to their practice squad.
According to a news release, WR Diondre Borel, TE Brandon Bostick, QB B.J. Coleman, T Andrew Datko, DE Lawrence Guy, G/T Chris Scott, RB Marc Tyler and G Greg Van Roten have been signed to the Packers practice squad.
Scott, a 6-foot-5, 332-pound second-year player out of the University of Tennessee, was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fifth round (No. 151 overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft. He appeared in two games for Pittsburgh in 2011 and also spent time on the Steelers' practice squad last season. Scott was with the Steelers during the 2012 preseason. He will wear No. 69.
The other seven signees to the practice squad were with the Packers during the preseason.
