Man found not guilty in Sheboygan County toddler death case
SHEBOYGAN - A man who faced years in prison for a Sheboygan County toddler case is now a free man. The Sheboygan Press reports a jury found 28-year-old Joshua Keenan not guilty of second degree reckless homicide after deliberating just over an hour Friday. Keenan was a roommate to the boy's mother, and was watching the 2-year-old back in February. He says he picked the toddler up, and the boy slipped from his grip and fell to the floor. Defense attorneys say it was a tragic accident, and that the boy had previous injuries that also could have contributed to his death. Keenan faced up to 15 years in prison.
