Packers cut 18 players; place Sherrod on PUP, So'oto on IR
GREEN BAY- The Packers regular season roster is now down to 53 players, following several cuts on Friday.
The Packers released: T Shea Allard, WR Diondre Borel, TE Brandon Bostick, QB B.J. Coleman, FB Nic Cooper, T Andrew Datko, C/G Tommie Draheim, C/G Sampson Genus, WR Curenski Gilleylen, WR Tori Gurley, DE Lawrence Guy, S Anthony Levine, CB Otis Merrill, WR Dale Moss, DT Daniel Muir, RB Marc Tyler, G Greg Van Roten and G/T Reggie Wells.
The Packers also announced that T Derek Sherrod has been put on the reserve/physically unable to perform (PUP) list; LB Vic So'oto was placed on injured reserve.
The Packers regular season starts Sunday, September 9 vs. San Francisco.
