Man identified in Town of Yorkville homicide
TOWN OF YORKVILLE- The Racine County Sheriff's office has identified a 54-year-old man that was shot and killed in Racine County early Sunday morning.
Authorities say that Robert G. Greene was staying with friends when he was shot around 2 a.m. Sunday in the 16000 block of County Highway A.
He was transported to a local hospital and later died from injuries.
The Racine County Sheriff's office said it has persons of interest in this shooting, but said that no one has been arrested as of Monday afternoon.
More than a day after Greene's death, deputies still won't say what they believed happened.
Deputies told TODAY'S TMJ4 they're looking for an object, but wouldn't say if it's the weapon that killed Greene.
