Deputy involved in deadly crash
TOWN OF EDEN - A Fond du Lac County Sheriff's deputy is involved in a traffic accident resulting in a fatality.
It happened Friday night just after 9 p.m. on County Highway B at County Highway K in the town of Eden.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the traffic crash and all inquiries are being referred to that agency.
The deputy sustained nonlife threatening injuries and was transported to St. Agnes Hospital where he was treated and released.
Neither weather conditions nor alcohol were factors in the crash.
Names are not being released at this time.
