Milwaukee Sheriff's deputy injured when semi strikes squad car on I-94
MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department says that a semi truck has struck a sheriff's squad car on a Milwaukee freeway, leading to the deputy being injured.
The crash happened before 12:00 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-94 near the Layton Avenue off-ramp.
A second crash also happened in the ramp, according to spokeswoman Fran McLaughlin.
The deputy's injuries were described as minor.
