FOND DU LAC - A 16-year-old boy accused of shooting an arrow that nearly killed a girl in Campbellsport is out on a $50,000 signature bond after a courtroom appearance Tuesday.

Casey Bennet is being tried as an adult in Fond du Lac County Court.  He faces a charge of 2nd degree reckless injury and obstructing an officer.

Back in May, Aryanna Schneeberg, 7, was playing outside her home.

That's when Bennett allegedly fired an arrow from a bow and struck the girl in the back.

The girl is expected to make a full recovery.

Bennett is expected to appear in court at a preliminary hearing on September 21st.
