Missing Racine woman died from multiple blunt force injuries
RACINE- An autopsy has determined that a 22-year-old missing woman died of "multiple blunt force injuries consistent with a high fall."
22-year-old Rebecca L. Ryan was found dead in a Racine quarry on over the weekend.
She was found by Caledonia police Saturday around 10 a.m. in the Vulcan Materials Company quarry, 1501 3 Mile Rd.
Around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, Rebecca Ryan's mother reported her daughter missing to authorities
According to a news release, Rebecca Ryan's backpack was found near 4 1/2 Mile Rd. and Charles St. in the Village of Caledonia on Tuesday -- and that promoted a search effort.
