Worshipers return to Sikh temple for first time since Sunday's shooting

OAK CREEK- Members of the Sikh temple returned to their house of worship Thursday.
That comes as Sikhs and the city of Oak Creek prepares for a funeral for the six victims killed on Sunday.
TODAY'S TMJ4's Steve Chamraz reports there are few remaining signs of the violence inside that house of worship.
It is a testament to the Sikh community's determination to move past it.
"They're doing the painting, and the cracks where the shooting in the wall, they fixed already," said Suhkdev Singh.
Singh was one of a select few allowed inside the temple Thursday. The only TV camera belonged to CNN.
Members of the temple took still photos of the clean-up and a pantry where more than a dozen people took shelter from the gunfire.
According to the CNN reporter allowed inside, the relatives of those killed visited the places their loved ones died. At times, collapsing on the floor in tears.
"My younger brother's gone, that's a fact, at the same time, it doesn't change my thinking, what I see, what I read," said Jagjit Singh Kaleka.

As does one reminder not painted over or washed away -- a hole left by one of the killer's bullets.
A handful of temple members remained inside Thursday night after the cleaning was done. They wanted a quiet moment of prayer and reflection before the doors reopen Friday for the funerals.
