Two shootings on Milwaukee's north, west sides
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police said Wednesday morning they were investigating a pair of shootings.
The first happened around 6:00 p.m. Tuesday night near the corner of North 24th and West Wells Streets.
Police said that someone shot a 25-year-old man in the stomach.
He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Then, at about 11:00 p.m., someone shot a 35-year-old woman in the arm.
That shooting happened near the corner of North 7th Street and West Keefe Avenue.
She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police did not have any initial information about arrests in either shooting.
