Portion of Howell Avenue closed until further notice
OAK CREEK - Many drivers who use South Howell Avenue in Oak Creek will need to find an alternate route for an undetermined amount of time.
Oak Creek Police have closed off the street between Drexel Boulevard and Rawson Avenue until further notice.
The Oak Creek shootings occurred at the Sikh Temple on the 7500 block of South Howell, which is about halfway between the two east-west streets.
Road Warrior Traffic reporter Caitlin Morrall says that alternate routes could enclude I-94, 27th Street, 13th Street and Nicholson.
