Franklin accident sends five to hospital, including a girl

FRANKLIN, Wis. - A nine year old child had to be extricated from a vehicle after a bad accident just before Noon on Saturday.

Police say a total of six vehicles collided at the intersection of South 27th Street and West Rawson Avenue.

The girl reportedly suffered a broken leg.

In addition, four adults are also hospitalized.

The nature of their injuries is not yet known.

Flight For Life had been called to the scene, but was not utilized.

Franklin police are investigating.
