Survey says Baldwin is ahead
MADISON - A new poll puts democrat Tammy Baldwin ahead of four republican candidates in the attempt to win Senator Herb Kohl's senate seat.
The Rasmussen telephone survey spoke with 500 likely voters in Wisconsin and compared her chances with that of Former GOP Congressman Mark Neumann, former Gov. Tommy Thompson, Assembly Speaker Jeff Fitzgerald and businessman Eric Hovde.
The poll shows Baldwin has a slim three-point lead over Hovde, a six point lead over Neumann, a seven point lead over Thompson and a ten point lead over Fitzgerald.
The margin of sampling error is reported at plus or minus 4.5 percentage points.
