Milwaukee officer injured when squad car flips in crash
MILWAUKEE - A Milwaukee Police officer was recovering from injuries Friday morning after rolling his squad and then slamming into a tree.
The MPD says the officer was at the corner of 57th Street and West Silver Spring Drive just before 9:00 p.m. Thursday night and heading to a call.
At that point, another vehicle got in the way and the officer swerved to miss it, but then his squad car flipped.
He is expected to be OK.
