Teen loses grip, dies after falling under school bus on Milwaukee's northwest side
MILWAUKEE- A 19-year-old man has died after trying to grab onto school bus, but lost his grip and was ran over by a school bus on Milwaukee's northwest side.
Police said that a relative of 19-year-old Alexander Haskins was involved in an altercation on the bus, and that relative called family members, including Haskins, to come assist him.
Around 3:20 p.m Wednesday, Haskins and some family members arrived at N. 88th Street and W. Carmen Avenue to help out.
The bus driver was allegedly unaware that Haskins was holding onto an open window on the bus.
Police don't expect any citations to be issued, and no one has been arrested.
TODAY'S TMJ4 has confirmed that Haskins was a 2011 graduate of Bradley Tech High School and was attending Milwaukee Area Technical College in downtown Milwaukee and wanted to be a Milwaukee police officer.
