Power restored after outage in Waukesha, New Berlin
WAUKESHA - About 1,400 customers of We Energies endured a power outage on Tuesday morning.
Spokesman Brian Manthey told Newsradio 620 WTMJ's Jay Sorgi that about 1,100 customers lost power in Waukesha, with another 300 without power in New Berlin.
By 8:20 a.m., power had been restored.
He explained that the outage included areas around East Moreland Boulevard, Pewaukee Road and Empire Road in Waukesha.
Newsradio 620 WTMJ Time Saver Traffic reporter Andi Miller said some street lights in Waukesha had lost power.
Manthey said the outage happened at about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.
There was no initial word on the cause of the outage.
