Deadly car crash in Racine investigated as homicide
RACINE- Racine authorities are investigating a deadly car crash from Monday afternoon as a homicide.
Witnesses say the victim, 22-year-old Jeremiah L. Brook, lost control of his Chevy and rear-ended a parked vehicle in the 1100 block of Washington Ave. around 1 p.m.
Rescue crews transported him to Wheaton-Franciscan All Saints Emergency Room where he died.
Authorities believe the victim suffered a chest injury before getting into that crash, but they are not sure where that happened.
The investigation is ongoing and no other details have been released.
