MILWAUKEE - Marcus Theatres released a statement after a man opened fire in a movie theater in Colorado, killing 12 and injuring dozens of others.
Marcus says it will take "proper measures" and have "security precautions in place today and every day." It is unclear whether this means extra security will be added. Some theaters have announced increased security in response to the tragedy.
The statement says the chain is "saddened" by events, and that "senseless, random acts of violence can happen anywhere."
