Milwaukee County business development leader arrested
MILWAUKEE- A high-ranking Milwaukee County employee has been arrested.
TODAY'S TMJ4's Charles Benson reports that the woman in charge of Milwaukee County's development office for disadvantage businesses was taken into police custody Thursday.
Milwaukee County board members say the allegations surrounding Freida Webb include misconduct in office.
County Board Chairwoman Marina Dimitrijevic issued a statement late Thursday, saying: "Freida Webb has been suspended without pay, pending the outcome of the investigation."
The Journal Sentinel reports Webb was locked out of her county office on Thursday.
