Mosinee man charged in bicyclist death
WAUSAU- A 43-year-old Mosinee man is now charged with a felony in a May crash that killed a bicyclist.
Tracy Kruzicki is charged with operating a vehicle while suspended causing death.
Investigators say Kruzicki struck and killed Tammy Gass while she was riding on a county road near Mosinee on May 23.
WSAW-TV reports Kruzicki was taken to the hospital following the crash for a blood draw, which is standard.
Kruzicki made his initial appearance Wednesday in Marathon County court. WAOW-TV reports a judge set a $10,000 bond with the first $1,000 in cash and the rest as signature bond.
Online court records show Kruzicki signed that bond Wednesday. He's not allowed to have any contact with the victim's family. Online court records do not list a defense attorney.
