Most of the area is now categorized in a severe drought and the very dry conditions will persist through the day, today.

A rather limited storm system will set its sites on Wisconsin later today through Saturday night, but most of the energy will be focused in Central and Northern parts of the state.  Still, we could see some scattered showers and storms, particularly on Saturday.

Hot air has headed back into our area beginning today with highs reaching near 90.  There's some indication those readings could rise back close to triple digits briefly by early next work week with even more very dry days ahead.
