Milwaukee police find body in Milwaukee River; investigate shooting
MILWAUKEE- Milwaukee police are investigating after an adult man was found in the Milwaukee River near N. Plankinton and E. Wells Street around 6:45 p.m. Thursday.
According to police, the victim was a homeless man residing in the downtown area.
Foul play isn't suspected in his death.
Meanwhile, Milwaukee police are looking into a shooting which occurred at 5:38 p.m. Thursday near N. 84th St and W. Mill Road.
A 17-year-old woman was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No other details were available on that shooting.
