Sexual assault in South Milwaukee may have ties to Bay View assaults

SOUTH MILWAUKEE - A string of sexual assaults in our area is expanding.
Four women have been attacked in Bay View since April. We're now learning that another woman was grabbed and groped in South Milwaukee July 3rd near 13th and Rawson.
That woman's mother told TODAY'S TMJ4, "She turned around and there was a man in a hoodie. He had his hand up her."
A woman told police in South Milwaukee that her attacker came out of nowhere and grabbed her from behind. She was groped but she screamed and fought back and the person took off.
The circumstances are extremely similar to four recent assaults in Bay View. The victim in South Milwaukee did not see her attacker.
The mother is afraid he's moving into a new neighborhood and she is asking for all women to be safe. "Women should be watching their surroundings. Watch what they are doing," said the mother.
South Milwaukee police told Newsradio 620 WTMJ they have been in contact with the Milwaukee Police Department to share information on the latest attack.
