Swear-in date set for Racine's new state senator
MILWAUKEE - We are now learning when the transition of power will happen within the state legislature.
The state Senate will meet next Tuesday to transition from Republican to Democratic control. The Democrats have a 17-16 majority following the victory of John Lehman in a recall election over incumbent Senator Van Wanggaard.
Lehman is scheduled to be sworn in on Monday, July 16.
