Autopsy results pending for woman found dead in Kenosha brush fire
KENOSHA- Autopsy results are pending for a woman found during a brush fire in Nedweski Park on Monday.
Kenosha authorities believe the victim's age ranges from late teens to early 20s.
She has not been positively identified as of Wednesday afternoon. The autopsy was completed Tuesday.
Kenosha's Police and Fire Departments were called to the park Monday around 10:20 a.m. after reports of a brush fire. The woman's body was discovered while authorities extinguished that fire.
According to a news release, Kenosha's Police Department is asking for anyone who was in the area of Nedweski Park during Monday's morning hours and "observed any activity" to call Crime Stoppers at (262) 656-7333 or the City of Kenosha Police Department Detective Bureau at (262) 605-5203 or Detective Josh Hecker at (262) 605-5264.
