MILWAUKEE - Three Milwaukee-area beaches are ranked among the best in the Midwest in a new online feature by a popular cable TV station.

Travel Channel picked Milwaukee's Bradford Beach, Sheboygan County's Kohler-Andrae State Park and Racine's North Beach among its top 10 Midwest beaches.

The online review cited:
- pickup volleyball games and food carts at Bradford Beach serving Wisconsin favorites like cheese curds
- the 1,000 acres and 137 campsites at Kohler-Andrae
- the marina and live music at North Beach.

Another Wisconsin beach, the six miles of beach at Point Beach State Forest, made the top 10.
