Pregnant woman shot, loses fetus
MILWAUKEE- A pregnant woman was shot Thursday morning, after she had dropped off her two-year-old at daycare. The shooting took place in the 7800 block of W. Caldwell Ct. around 8:30 a.m.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the woman is expected to survive but the fetus did not. The woman is recovering at a local hospital.
The police continue to investigate the shooting.
