Elderly man in critical condition after car pinned him down in Delafield
DELAFIELD- An 80-year-old man is in critical condition at Froedtert Hospital after he was pinned under a car Thursday afternoon.
According to witnesses and an initial police investigation, it is believed the man was trying to remove the vehicle while it was hung up on a rock and the car slid backwards onto him. Authorities believe the man was dragged under the car until it stopped.
Delafield police and the Lake County Fire Department responded to the emergency call shortly after 1 p.m. in the 3100 block of Nagawicka Ave.
Authorities removed the man from under the car and he was transported to the hospital by Flight for Life.
The investigation is ongoing.
