Person dead after crash, vehicle fire in Germantown
GERMANTOWN - Germantown Police say that a person has died after a crash and vehicle fire early Thursday morning.
The crash happened near the corner of Mary Buth Lane and Highland Road at about 2:40 a.m.
According to police, the vehicle was going north on Mary Buth Lane when it left the road, went into a ditch and overturned.
The vehicle then caught fire.
The driver was the only person inside the vehicle. That driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
