2 heat-related advisories issued for parts of southeast Wisconsin
MILWAUKEE - The National Weather Service has issued a pair of Heat Advisories for southeastern Wisconsin for this week.
Waukesha, Dodge, Fond du Lac, Jefferson, Walworth and Washington Counties are currently under a Heat Advisory until 10 p.m. Friday.
Milwaukee, Kenosha, Ozaukee, Racine and Sheboygan Counties will have a Heat Advisory in effect from 10 a.m. Tuesday until 10 p.m. that same night.
"If you're going out to Summerfest (Tuesday), it will be hot all the way up to the lakeshore -- 97 (degrees) at 6 pm," said Storm Team 4Caster John Malan. "If you're going to the Brewers game, very, uncomfortable 98 degrees at 3:00, muggy right through the game."
According to Malan, we can expect around 85-86 degrees for Tuesday night's fireworks along Milwaukee's lakefront.
He projects Tuesday's highs in the upper 90s everywhere across southeastern Wisconsin.
For Wednesday it should be partly cloudy, hot, 94 degrees inland, 88 degrees at the lakeshore. "We'll see those 90s especially away from Lake Michigan Thursday and Friday, a thunderstorm possible late on Friday," said Malan.
