Milwaukee bakes in third straight 90 degree day
MILWAUKEE - The hot stretch of summer we're experiencing in Milwaukee will continue into Friday and deep into the weekend, according to Storm Team 4Caster Michael Fish.
"The very weak cool front which passed through our region late yesterday will have very little impact on temperatures for today," said Fish.
"Our reading will still rise into the low 90s which is 10 to 15 degrees above where we should be for this time of year."
Fish tells us that the humidity which brought about triple-digit heat index readings won't affect us as much during the day today, though rain is posisble throughout the weekend.
"There will...be a very noticable difference in the dew points which will drop back into the low 60s leading to lower humidity levels. Our lengthy dry spell continues, with no widespread drenching rains expected in the near future, however some scattered showers and storms are possible with the passage of a couple disturbances over the weekend, but neither Saturday nor Sunday will be a washout."
