Armed robbers strike at Pewaukee bank
PEWAUKEE - Police in Pewaukee are searching for two suspects who robbed a PNC Bank.
The armed robbery happened Thursday morning at the corner of Swan and Capitol.
TODAY'S TMJ4's Todd Hicks reports that the suspects were wearing black ski masks and clothing.
They stormed the bank with guns, jumped the counter, took cash, then took off in a car.
Authorities found the vehicle about a half mile away.
A K-9 unit is trying to find the suspects.
Two customers and a number of employes were inside when the robbery happened.
It is not believed that the robberies are connected to another string of robberies in the Milwaukee area.
